It was NOT long ago when I was posting about my last wedding of 2017, and here we are gearing up for our FIRST wedding of 2018. Like, less than two months later. 

With such a short downtime I haven’t gotten to our second annual year-end behind the scenes post. Don’t worry, it’s coming — Next week!

Since we are starting off 2018 with a winter wedding, I’ve been reflecting back on our first wedding of 2017, also a winter wedding, but a February one. 

You might remember Patrick and Sarah’s nerd theme engagement session. They worked in Star Wars AND Game of Thrones.

Their wedding, though, took a different theme. Their sweet rainy day, winter nuptials paid tribute to Patrick’s military service and what their future would be holding. Immediately after their honeymoon they packed up their belongings to move to Florida for Patrick’s flight school.

As someone who also came home from her honeymoon, packed her belongings to move to a state that wasn’t home and start a new life with her husband. I know how hard they must have been for Sarah and have prayed hard her this year. She is so strong as is the love these two have for each other so I have no doubt they are thriving!
