Oh the McInyre’s, I just love them! Matt and Kelley came to me first to book as their wedding photographer, I shot their engagement photos and then in-between that session and their November wedding they asked for a family shoot!

Even though this shoot was last July, I wanted to share it today for a few reasons.

1. Dogs. I don’t think I’ve fully shared how much of a crazy dog person I am on here. When people ask “is it okay if we bring our dog for our *insert session type here* I know I’ve failed sharing my heart in my business because IT IS ALWAYS OKAY TO BEING ANIMALS if you’re working with me. And the McIntyre clan ALWAYS incorporates their AussieDoodles and I love them even more for that.

2. Kelley knocked it out of the park organizing everyone’s outfits for this session. I love the soft blues and whites for summer.

3. This session, like most sessions, was shot at my house, and even though it’s always hotter than blazes in July I really do love how my farm looks in the summer. The evening light is at it’s most magical this time of year.

4. I wasn’t thinking last week and accidentally mowed down my favorite black eyed Susan patched, which is heavily represented in this session. So I’m a bit in mourning over it, a bit hopeful that I mowed it early enough in the summer that it will pop back to life.

Paw Patrol was locked on my porch while we did some of just the humans. They had a lot to say about it. I am definitely getting barked at here.
