THE INDEX

S&M Tie the Knot

These two, their fun and sweet, and I hope more than anything you saw their engagement session I posted earlier today. If not, you can see that here. October are weddings are guaranteed to be gorgeous, but whether or not you’re going to get rain all day is a gamble. If there is one thing I’ve learned about living in Kentucky, we spend a lot of time dealing with and working around large amounts of rain.

This is not a problem we have in Oklahoma, where I’m from.

A couple of notes for this wedding, I LOVE how Stephanie and Michael took their love of baseball and incorporated it so uniquely throughout their day — from groomsmen’s gifts to their guest sign.

Daniel and I have gotten to a point where we start out the day together, and then he heads off to where ever the guys are, while I stay with the ladies. The guys were ahead of schedule and needed to kill some time and not show up at the church for the first look before we were ready so Daniel went rogue and had the limo driver stop at a baseball field for some fun groom+groomsmen shots. This year I’ve really seen Daniel’s creativity and confidence in his skill bloom and I’m so excited to see what he busts out during next year’s weddings!

This first shot you’re about to see is actually where Michael proposed. Because of that downtown is extra sentimental to Michael and Stephanie which is why we chose this location for their engagement photos and for their wedding portraits. They told me they wanted the fountain for photos, I was totally on board for, however, I’d take shots, repose take more shots and still the water feature of the fountain WOULD. NOT. GO. OFF. we gave up on it happening and they loaded the party bus to rejoin their bridal party. It was at this time the fountain finally did it’s thing…

Those two shot off that bus like well-dressed rockets and cuddled up in front of the display behind them. I am so glad because these ended up being some of my favorites of the two of them!

These two had the most precious first look!

Now it’s time for a little father-daughter first look.

The photo in the middle is Stephanie’s IMMEDIATE family. Like parents, her brothers and sisters, their spouses and children. I’m still blown away!
