So while we’re all freezing to death, think back to perfect days, when the sun stayed in the sky till 6:30 p.m. and we didn’t have to wear wool socks 24/7.

You might recognize Mike, of Evermore Productions. He is a super talent wedding videographer, that we are not only lucky enough to shoot with fairly often, we’re lucky enough to call him a friend as well.

One of the things I love is when Lindsey, his wife tracks me down for updated family photos — they have four children, their life is loud, super chaotic and I love every second of their family sessions. Mike and Lindsey are super chill and I seriously look forward to each time I get to see this crew.

Simon, their youngest, turned one last fall, so naturally we needed to document it! You will probably squeal from the adorableness this extra chromosome carrying cutie exudes with each little smile.

He LOVES his mama.

Listen, Josie and I have a history. One were she is one of the few children to NOT like me one bit. But this time… this time I finally won over this sassy little toddler.
