It’s wedding day for Stanley and Lindsay! Every year we always have one winter wedding somewhere between January and February, and I’m so glad these two are repping for that 2019 couple. I’m also so glad the polar vortex has moseyed on past Kentucky and instead of 9° like it was a couple of days ago, where looking at a 50° winter day.

Instead of Lindsay and Stanley’s story, I going to tell you I knew Lindsay was the perfect Two Arrows bride from the moment we set down at Starbucks at our first meeting (😂😂😂) — in fact, our meeting went way longer than a normal first consultation because we just sat on the patio, sunglasses on, talking about anything and everything on that warm late spring morning.

I love it when I just click with a bride right out the gate, it makes their wedding journey just a little extra fun!

For Stanley and Lindsay’s engagement session I think it was colder that fall evening then it will be today on their winter wedding! But they both toughed through it, and I just love how it turned it. We shot these on Lindsay’s families hunting land, and I had so many options to choose from for spots I easily could’ve shot there another two hours.

Meet Willie. I am ALWAYS always okay with pets in sessions. Always.

I feel like prefacing to say this next one is the “famous hat shot.” Lindsay’s little laugh face from Stanley kissing her broke Instagram for my world. It was so fun seeing all the places it was featured — including Kentucky Bride and becoming Top 10 of 2018 for Grit and Grace.

It was overcast the entire session, but the sun peeked through the clouds during a few minutes of last light that day.
