THE INDEX

Wathen Wedding

Oh yeah, I definitely made you scroll past two stunning images before you get to my monologue.

I published Wezley and Lexie’s engagement session a few weeks ago. It had all the Nicolas Sparks feels of a tire swing on top of a hill to a wooded fall farm and we wrapped it up with a fun curve ball where they threw neon colored paint at each other and I laughed hysterically while snapped that shutter.

You NEED to see that here: https://twoarrowsphoto.com/2019/01/perfect-farm-session-to-paint-throwing-wezley-lexies-engagement/

So heeeeyyyyy now it’s time to see their August wedding. Mid portraits the sky unloaded a thunderstorm on us, but it’s barely worth mentioned because 1. Lexie was ON IT and was ahead of schedule like I like my brides to be. 2. Because she was ahead of schedule, we hung out on the bus and waited it out for 30 minutes and it literally didn’t affect our timeline one bit. 3. They had a bus, so the bridal party (at least the bridesmaids, MOB and bride were comfortable).

Not to sounds like a strict school marm, but PREPARE. PREPARE. PREPARE.

Lexie saved her own day and had SO much time for extra portraits because of these steps.

These two—a real life Lorelei and Rory. Their mother/daughter bond is more of the best friends forever flavor.

It’s hard to be a flowergirl.

There were two random girls riding around this tiny four-wheeler around the park area we were using for portraits. And that’s how this moment came to be.

A little before the ceremony tears and hugs.

Her momma cried during their first dance and it was incredibly precious.

Dancing with her grandpa, while grandma watches from the edge of the dance floor.

Ice. Ice. Baby. *cue mother/daughter dance off*

She leaves a little sparkle wherever she goes. And Lexie’s sweet, sweet spirit definitely does.

Wezley, you’re awesome, too.
