It’s a new year and it’s time to roll out all the beautiful engagement sessions and weddings of last year. Maybe 2020 will also be the year I blog things as they happen instead of waiting until winter slow season, but we’ll see. 😉

First up of our 2020 couples is Neil and Maddie, I love that they are having a leap day wedding! I asked if they had a selected the 28th or March 1st to celebrate their anniversary those three years between leap days and Maddie said, “Both days! I’ve decided our anniversary celebrating is going to last two whole days all the years in-between leap years, Neil is going to be so happy every four years when there is only one day of celebrating.”

Literally lol’d at her logic. 😂

You wouldn’t know it by looking at these images you’re about to see, but it was November and SO cold the day of their engagement session. We chose locations close to their heart stopping throughout downtown Henderson, Kentucky and finished up on their land where they plan to build a home someday.

I loved that they incorporated home and little pieces of their relationship like a bourbon tasting on their dock and a little cuddle session with their dog, Bourbon.
