It’s wedding day for Lyndsey and Chris!

Lyndsey is the last of the Lewis sisters to be a Two Arrows Bride, and after dealing with everything Covid-related, from having to change her date, locations, several vendors and me being under a state mandated quarantine for her new wedding date. 😭 (I’m not ready to talk about it yet. Someday, but it’s still fresh and I’m still quarantined right now.) this couple deserved nothing more than THE most perfect weather and day!!

I can verify that it is a beautiful July day and I know even without seeing her in person Lyndsey will be/is a gorgeous bride.

A special thanks to Leslie Rodriguez who stepped in to associate shoot this wedding for me today, I know Chris and Lyndsey are in excellent hands with Leslie! ♥️

So let’s go back to last August shall we, on another PERFECT weather summer Saturday.

Both Chris and Lyndsey graduated in the same class at Catholic High as Daniel, their roots run deep in this town and I loved how they wanted to show that off with these hometown locations during their engagement session.

We started in downtown with a few iconic Owensboro treasures. 2nd street, the glass Kentucky mural and the blue bridge, as well as the pier, which also serves as the place where Chris proposed to Lyndsey.

The glass Kentucky can be a little tricky to photograph when the sun is hitting it directly, but gosh, if you aren’t afraid of the challenge it is SO magical with the sun.

A location, outfit change and two golf carts later, we ended up at the Pearl club, one of the golf courses in town.

I know you have to risk the heat, but man, summer golden hour is the dreamiest.

I could tell you many, many things I love about the Lyndsey and her sisters, but one of those things is they need zero guidance on choosing outfits. Each one of them have totally different style preferences, but each of them hit it out the park every time.

Happy wedding day, Chris and Lyndsey! I’m so sad I’m not the one to be physically shooting your wedding, but I am so excited to edit your wedding images later!
