Posting the Green family session from 2019 today because I’m editing their 2020 session right now, and it’s another I’m going to want you all to see soon!

What I love about Kirby and Tyler is they show up to family photos just how they are in that season of life. Kirby lives for photos of her girls facial expressions each year, and their house is covered in canvases of previous years. When I walk in she say something like, “What I love so much about this one is Caroline was going through such and such phase where she was doing this all the time and I’m glad I get to remember it,” as she points to a canvas.

For their 2019 session she let the girls pick out their outfits for photos, to make it a little extra fun for them and then out into their neighborhood we went to explore — two girls in the sparkly dresses with legs covered in Band-Aids and their parent’s in tow.

It was HOT that day, but no one got cranky, their were no cross words or “sit down, look at the camera and SMILE.” it was just late summer adventures and giggles with the Green family.

And y’all, that’s what a family photo session should be like.
