It’s time for TORI!! And you too, JT, you’re important too.
I’m going to be honest, I almost didn’t take on this wedding, because I don’t shoot weddings of family, friends or family friends. So, I told her no when she asked. But Tori is not one to be deterred. I eventually told her if you can talk Daniel into it we will do it. One evening she drops by the house, plops down at out kitchen table and barely got the words out before Daniel caved.
A real hard-ass, that one.
Not only is Tori a friend, she’s also our main house sitter when we’re out of town and our dogs favorite vet tech. She’s been known to show up late at night unannounced (because she knows I don’t check my phone that often anyway) and has seen my house in shambles.
I like that about our friendship.
Also, I’m SO glad I ended up taking on this wedding, because it’s a fav. Quite a few of my favorite humans sprinkled throughout, and quite a few of my favorite vendors.
Stick through the scrolling for a dog in a tuxedo, ducks who crashed my portraits, dogs photobombing and finally a little behind the scenes of Daniel and I.
Piper, the flowergirl, is the little sister of Oakley who was one of Daniel and I’s flowergirls!
Tonea, pictured taking the dress off the hanger, not only corralled the flowergirls at my wedding, way back when, she was so much help behind the scenes and was literally the only person left to calm my nerves right before I walked down the aisle.
Like I said, the people in this wedding are important to Daniel and I, so this was an extra fun one.
A mother-daughter first look that made everyone cry.
Literally, every bridesmaid in tears.
Brace yourself for what you’re about to see…
Beans! In a tux!
“Houston, we’ve got ducks.”
Y’all this reception… What you’re about to see is the equipment building for their coal mining company.
But you never would’ve guessed that, huh?
Thanks for forcing us to be your wedding photographers, Tori and JT, we loved getting to be a part of your day in this unique way!
