Hands down my favorite part of blogging my 2018 weddings in these beginning months of 2019 has been getting to relive each day and remember various things I loved about each day.
Almost a year later, I am still happily freaking out about the patterns and colors Natalie selected for her wedding day. For a spring wedding, most would have selected pastels, blush or other light colors, not Natalie, she came swooping in my life with bold, shades of pinks and high contrast black and gold accents and I was like hallelujah with my praise hands up. Then, make things even better, she added stripes and polka dots.
Yaaaassssss queen.
Did I mention I was a fan of her color choices? 😉
Then it turns out all of her close friends look like models, so, you know, icing on my wedding photography cake.
It was a spring, Kentucky day that didn’t consist of fighting rain, the weather was gorgeous, there were happy tears from SO. MANY. PEOPLE. during the day—we see you best man—the apple trees were blooming and the greenhouse I used for portraits just happened to coordinate with the wedding flowers.
This was a good day.
